Tutoring with Ms. Susan LLC provides personalized online tutoring for young children in preschool through third grade (ages 3–8). Founded by Ms. Susan Grimes, an experienced early childhood educator with over 17 years in education, the company is dedicated to helping young learners build strong academic foundations with confidence.
Ms. Susan specializes in customized one-on-one tutoring and small group instruction, designed to meet each child’s unique learning style. She believes that learning is not one-size-fits-all, especially in the early years, which is why every session is carefully tailored to support growth in early literacy, math skills, homework support, and school readiness.
Using fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate teaching methods, Ms. Susan creates a positive learning environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn. Personal Bio
Hello, my name is Susan Grimes, and I am an experienced early childhood educator with over 17 years in the field of early childhood and elementary education. I have been working with young learners since 2008 and am passionate about helping children build strong academic foundations during their most important developmental years.
I graduated Cum Laude from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, and I also hold a Certificate as an Event Leadership Executive from Temple University. My professional background includes serving as a Lead Teacher in child development centers, where I supported children’s growth in early literacy, math readiness, social-emotional development, and school readiness skills.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was inspired to launch my own online tutoring business for young children as a way to continue educating and supporting families while working remotely. This transition allowed me to provide personalized online tutoring for preschool through third-grade students, meeting each child exactly where they are academically and emotionally.
My goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children by offering a customized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate approach to learning. I believe that when children feel confident, supported, and excited about learning, they are set up for long-term academic success and a lifelong love of education.
